Musgrove Farm Allotments can be accessed from Beaver Road, next to Marino’s chip shop, or by a narrow footpath which leaves the lower end of Bond Road between gardens.
Do not confuse this site with the similarly named ‘Musgrove New’, a sub-division of the William Road complex.
Musgrove Farm is easy to get to and is one of the largest sites in the Borough. The soil is a little heavy but not too poorly drained; a good firm loam and very rewarding to grow on. This site doesn’t have the shading problems that bedevil some sites, and all the plots are sunny.
